Children's Panadol Colourfree suspension 5-12 Years is part of the Children's Panadol range of paracetamol-based pain relief, which has been trusted for children's pain and fever for over 60 years.
Description
Panadol Children 5-12 Years Strawberry Flavour helps to reduce fever and provides fast pain relief.
Use Children's Panadol colour-free suspension for fast effective temporary relief from fever and pain associated with:
- Teething
- Immunisation
- Earache
- Headache
- Cold & Flu Symptoms
Ingredients:
Paracetamol 48mg/mL, Hydroxybenzoates, no artificial colours, 115mg/mL Sorbitol, and 371mg/mL of Maltitol (which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhea)
Usage Directions:
Please read and retain the carton.
Shake the bottle well. Use the measuring cup provided to accurately measure.
Pour the correct dose into the cup based on the dosage below. Calculate the correct dose based on the child's weight. If the weight is unknown, use the child's age.
- Age: 1-2 Years, Average Weight: 10-12 kg, Dose: 3-4mL
- Age: 2-3 Years, Average Weight: 12-14 kg, Dose: 4mL
- Age: 3-4 Years, Average Weight: 14-16 kg, Dose: 4-5mL
- Age: 4-5 Years, Average Weight: 16-18 kg, Dose: 5-6mL
- Age: 5-6 Years, Average Weight: 18-20 kg, Dose: 6mL
- Age: 6-7 Years, Average Weight: 20-22 kg, Dose: 6-7mL
- Age: 7-8 Years, Average Weight: 22-25 kg, Dose: 7-8mL
- Age: 8-9 Years, Average Weight: 25-28 kg, Dose: 8-9mL
- Age: 9-10 Years, Average Weight: 28-32 kg, Dose: 9-10mL
- Age: 10-11 Years, Average Weight: 32-36 kg, Dose: 10-11mL
- Age: 11-12 Years, Average Weight: 36-41 kg, Dose: 11-13mL
Repeat 4-6 hourly if required (maximum 4 times within 24 hours).
Can be given with water or fruit juice if preferred by your child.
Push the cap down and turn it to close the cap tightly, then turn backward until you hear clicking sounds.
Storage:
Store below 30°C but do not refrigerate.
Warnings:
Incorrect use could be harmful. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, please contact your healthcare professional.
Do not use Panadol if your child is using other medicines containing paracetamol, do not take this medicine for more than 48 hours at a time unless advised by a doctor. If you are allergic to paracetamol, Do not use if the expiry date has passed, if any of the seals on the packaging are broken, until you have read the enclosed leaflet carefully.
Ask a doctor before use:
- If your child has any kidney or liver problems
- Weighs less than 10kg or more than 41kgs
Stop and see a doctor immediately if your child has an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath, or wheezing after taking this medication.
Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is taken or suspected, stop use and ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26. New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
Contains hydroxybenzoates, sucralose, and sorbitol (5.98g/52ml) and maltitol (19.29g/52ml) Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhea.
