Panadol Rapid Caplets provide fast, effective relief of pain and discomfort associated with headache/tension headache, migraine headache, toothache, muscular aches, cold & flu symptoms and period pain. Panadol Rapid Caplets also reduce fever. Like other Panadol tablets and caplets, Panadol Rapid Caplets is gentle on the stomach. Caplets are oval shaped, as well as film-coated, making them easy to swallow and leaving no bitter aftertaste.

Panadol Rapid Caplets are absorbed twice as fast as regular Panadol Tablets.

Warnings:

Before using Panadol, please be aware of the following:

• Do not use Panadol if you are allergic to paracetamol.
• Avoid Panadol if you are currently taking other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Panadol is not intended for children below the age of 12.
• For children aged 12-17, do not use Panadol for more than 48 hours without medical advice.
• In adults, refrain from using Panadol for more than a few days at a time without medical advice.
• If any seals on the packaging are broken, do not use the product.
• Check the package use-by date, and do not use Panadol if it has expired.
• Always read the enclosed leaflet carefully before using Panadol.

• You have liver or kidney problems.
• You are taking warfarin, a medication used to thin the blood.

While using this product:

It's important to be aware of the following:

• If you suspect an overdose or have taken an overdose, contact the Poisons Information Centre (AUST: 13 11 26; NZ 0800 764 766) or go to the hospital immediately, even if you feel well. Overdose poses a risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated.
• Adhere to the recommended dose to avoid health risks. Two caplets contain 352mg (15.3 mmol) of sodium, which should be considered by individuals on a low sodium diet.

Ingredients:

Each Panadol caplet contains 500mg of Paracetamol.

Additionally, 8 caplets contain 1.4g (60mmol) of sodium and potassium sorbate as a preservative.

Directions:

For adults and individuals aged 12 and above:

• Take 2 caplets.
• Repeat every 4-6 hours with water as required (maximum 8 caplets in 24 hours).

Panadol features a 2-way safety seal system. Use only if the seals are intact, including carton safety seals and heat-sealed blisters.
